My nephew is always playing video games or watching the reviews abaut video games on YouTube since I met him in my wife's parents house.
And he is not willing to communicate with the other family members.
Also he is not willing to go out outside of the house.
So I'm worried about him very much.
It's not only him but many children have same problems.
Video games are really bad effect on the children.
In other words the children are strongly addicted by the video games like drugs.
This is a really ironically incident because I was used to be a video game creator.
I felt guilty badly and I thought I have to change this circumstance.
Once I tried to go out with him, but he didn't likely really enjoy it.
So I bought him a board game "THE GAME OF LIFE" to make him communicate with other family members playing through it.
It was really effective!
He really enjoyed to play it and communicate with us.
Playing board games is not only fun but also foster children's communication skill now I'm sure.

福岡にある妻の実家に帰省しています。
そこで義兄家族と共に滞在していますが、甥っ子はずっとビデオゲームをやっているか、YouTubeのゲーム実況ばかりを観ていて、他のことに興味がない様子でした。
家族とのコミュニケーションも積極的でなく、流石に心配をしていました。
言わば「ビデオゲーム依存症」です。これは麻薬のような強烈な依存症に思えました。
彼ばかりではなく多くの子供たちが同じ問題…ビデオゲーム依存症を抱えていると思います。
これは長年ビデオゲームクリエーターを生業としてきた僕にとって、非常に皮肉な状況です。
とても罪悪感を感じてしまうし、何とかしなければという思いに駆られています。
そこで最初、甥と一緒に外出することにしたのですが、彼はしぶしぶといった様子で、本当に楽しんではいない感じでした。
これでは逆効果だなと思って、次にホビーショップでボードゲームの「人生ゲーム」を買ってきて、みんなでやってみることにしました。
これが功を奏し、彼はみんなと一緒に「人生ゲーム」をプレイすること楽しみ、積極的に会話をするようにもなってきたのです。
ボードゲームのように直接対面してみんなでプレイする遊びは、ビデオゲームにはない魅力があり、また、ビデオゲーム依存症から脱却する手段の一つとして有効かもしれないと思った出来事でした。
